Perth enjoys a Mediterranean climate with warm, sunny weather for most of the year. Perth’s climate is extremely sunny, with around 3,200 hours annually. This is higher than any other major Australian city.

There is very little rainfall in summer. Rainfall comes mainly in winter although, even in winter, Perth usually enjoys plenty of pleasantly warm sunshine.
